Love Thy Neighbour
In the 1970s people wanted to live in peace with others. In the 1980s, everybody was chanting, 'Don't Worry, Be Happy'. In the 1990s the catch phrase 'What Would Jesus Do' was popular. In the 2000s it was all about Random Acts of Kindness. Jesus calls us to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind & strength and to Love Thy Neighbour as thyself.
One way to practice this is to purchase a meal for someone else. Every Thursday, the Youth Farm Bible Camp is making Hot Meals of the Week to go along with people's grocery orders. A community member suggested setting up a way for people to show love to others by purchasing a meal for a family or individual. There will be no delivery charge on these meals that people are purchasing for others!!
To purchase a meal for another, go to our LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR order form.
To purchase a meal for yourself, go to our Food Market Page.
There will also be a chance to write a card out for the person you want to bless.
Order food for someone that you know needs encouragement. Order food for a family that needs a boost this week. Get back into relationship with a person that you have had a conflict with.
Let's take time out of our routine to care for our neighbour, to show love to others. Bring hope to people during this time of crisis!
The Greatest Commandments:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul, and with all your mind and Love thy neighbour as thyself.
